The postal system of Botswana is one of the more modern systems of its kind. It uses a series of codes to identify and deliver mail. Some countries use the same code system but with a different acronym. For example, the United States Postal Service uses a zip code system to identify and deliver mail. These codes have been around for more than 100 years. They have been modified to better identify the location of mail in the modern era.

The same zip code system is also used by the Philippines and Indonesia. Not only is the system complex, but it is expensive to maintain. Many kinds of goods are prohibited in the mail. So, when you're mailing a gift or an important document, you should be prepared. And, be sure to check the relevant government and regulatory guidelines.

Botswana may be a predominantly African country, but it's got its fair share of European flair. In fact, the city of Gaborone is the capitol of Botswana. But before you pack your bags, make sure you've got all the necessary documents. This includes your visa, which is required for most visitors. You can also apply for an import license.

Fortunately, Botswana's mail system is efficient, allowing for the sorting of millions of pieces of mail a day. There are a number of post offices to choose from. Most people who live in the country use post office boxes to receive mail.
